Project description

The objective of the St Peter's Business School project was to maintain the historic status of the building, while tidying it up and making it into an impressive new teaching facility within a limited budget. As part of our work we reformatted the classrooms, incorporating additional windows to bring in more light and update the look. We also went through and corrected some of the changes that had been made to the building over the years so that the original details rang through. Whilst it has been modernised, it still stays true to what was originally built.

Where small alterations have been done by people over the years, we tidied them up, ensuring that skirting details matched, door architrave details matched, holes in the wall were filled in and painted over and anything else was tidied up.

The initial phase was to establish the centre, second phase was to create office space for staff, and then the third phase was to complete the internal works and tidy up the facade on the outside. It was a relatively small project, but very tidy – allowing us to reinstate history while updating the school.
